We are delighted to announce that TNC19 will be held on 16-20 June 2019 in Tallinn, Estonia’s capital city, organised by GÉANT and hosted by the Estonian NREN EEnet of HITSA. Tallinn, one of the most technologically advanced cities in the world, offers another perfect setting for TNC.
This year’s conference theme, Forging Digital Societies, is inspired by two main concepts: the idea that computer networks, by supporting human interactions, help to create and forge digital societies, is combined with the innovative model of Estonia’s e-residency programme. TNC is the place where our community gathers to shape the future of research and education forging the society of the future with digital ’fire’ and passion for innovation and progress.
You are now invited to propose ideas for workshops, demonstrations, discussions, presentations and meetings about building a better internet for research and education, following the format below:
Full session (90 min)
Single presentation (25 min)
Demonstration
Side meeting
Remember to read the Submission Guidelines to increase your chances of a successful proposal.
Submission Deadlines
30 November 2018 (24.00 CEST) – Full session and Single presentation
11 January 2019 (24.00 CEST) – Demonstration and Side meeting
After recording the highest level of attendance in the history of TNC in 2018, expectations are high for an event that will stimulate and inspire our community with the same intensity.
We look forward to seeing you in Tallinn in 2019!
Steffie Bosman
